Metallics are having a huge moment, so gold would definitely  be a great option to go with browns and creams. Mixing metals is also very in right now and would be a great way to make your shoe more versatile and go with black or brown. What I think your best, and cutest option for clothing in the brown and cream family would be a shoe in leopard print. Animal prints have become a neutral and mix well with brown, black, red, purple, pretty much any color. I happen to love leopard shoes with chocolate brown tights for a perfect fall combination.
