One
of my favorite spots for budgeted designer clothing has got to be
sample-sale websites. Gilt.com is probably the most popular one out
there, and with good reason. At 12pm everyday a new slew of reduced
designer clothing is up for grabs. I like to use Gilt to find unique,
fun pieces to fit into my daughters wardrobe. Unlike Zara or Gap, I don't
look to come out with a shopping cart filled with a spring wardrobe. A
random blouse, a unique piece of jewelry (Yes jewelry! I bought my niece adorable Vera Wang-inspired bow earrings for
her birthday) or even cute tutus for dress-up. They also feature more high-end companies like Jacadi and
Marie Chantal if you need anything fancy.

Tip for boys- Gilt features Vilberquin boys swim and Joe's jeans on
their site A LOT, hold out and you're sure to snag some at a fraction of
the original price.

Rue-la-la.com doesn't feature children's
clothes every day but instead once a week. Their selection is not always
amazing but again, keep your eyes open and you'll get lucky. My sisters
and I each bought these cute Little Marc bathing-suits- for $39 a
piece!!
There are tons more sites out there as well like
Hautelook.com,
(also features Joe's Jeans regularly) and Zulily.com. Zulily features a
ton of different designers a day, most of which are not as high-end as
the other sites. With some weeding out though, you can definitely find
great items.
What they do have is a lot of pajamas which are always great, and
infant stretchies and gowns by Babysteps.
I can go on and on about my purchases on these websites, but ill
leave it at this: It is definitely worth a look every couple of days to
see if anything catches your eye. You never know if those cute jeggings you just
paid full price for are actually on sale for $20 on one of these sites.
And who doesn't love getting packages in the mail! Happy Hunting.....
